Cerebral Degenerative Disorders

Description

Cerebral degenerative disorders are slow progressive conditions characterized by abnormal behaviors or involuntary movements, often with evidence of motor system deterioration. These disorders can produce sleep disturbances.

Diagnosis

Patients with cerebral degenerative disorders can have abnormal sleep patterns. Symptoms include insomnia, excessive sleepiness or abnormal movement activity. Sleep-wake cycles can also become disturbed in these patients.
