About Sleep Conditions
A bad night's sleep is a bad night's sleep, right? Absolutely not. There are many reasons you might have trouble sleeping - some more serious than others. So, understanding what is causing your poor sleep (and what is not) is important. The International Classification of Sleep Disorders - Second Edition (ICSD-2) lists 81 specific sleep disorders. The ICSD-2 is a resource doctors use to assist in accurately identifying the cause of sleep problems. While diagnosis should be left to a physician, understanding more about sleep disorders is a good first step to great sleep.
